few small things

-I hope to never see Matt Clement starting a playoff game in a Sox uniform. That guy is weak. I'm typing this before his start against Texas tonight, so regardless if he gets shelled or shuts them out I still do not have faith in him. It's frustrating to watch him walk people. Then when he gets in trouble he slouches his shoulders instead of kicking it up a notch. Also Perkins was telling me when he watched him in Chicago he consistently hit 93, now he sits at 88 tops. Feel more comfortable with Wake throwin the wiffleball on the mound.


-You have to love getting to see Manny play for an entire season. I'm kind of glad he doesn't DH soley because its funny to watch him play defense. On Wed he took a tough angle on a ball hit almost to the wall in Yankee Stadium, he reaches up and behind his head to make the catch then turns to the crowd and does the shhhhh with his finger to his mouth.

-Know how Crisp was sick last week delaying his return a little? Word is that it was kidney stones and he passed them, ouch.

-Papelbons stuff allows him to close in the majors, but his makeup lets him thrive in that role.

-Wells says he could be ready for May 23rd against NY.

-Got Costello to write a farm system piece by this weekend. Williams is also workin on a contribution so keep your eyes open for those.
